Trips from Marrakech :

Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou :
In the morning, weIdepart towards the marvellous desert we might have heard about from millions of people taking the adventure for a new discovery and exploring. Actually before we start the Saharan weather and landscapes, we first have to go through the highest road of Morocco and as it is the only matching the north to the south. The Tizi-n-Tichka pass is about 2260m high, and that is borders between the north flat and green lands to the dry and subtle status of the desert side… we take a visit into the Kasbah of Telouet, which has been the palace for the boss of the grand south of morocco over the 40’s and 30’s, a very beautiful and well decorated house with the local and typical materials. Then we head down to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou; the second Kasbah of the same person, but in this one more than 20 American movies have been filmed thus to its architecture and the nature potentials as well… visit the studios after lunch and then we drive back home to Marrakech after having spent such a great day full of the surprises to the South of Morocco.

Ouzoud Waterfalls :
One of the most remarkable natural attractions all around Morocco. Images of Ouzoud are featured in almost every Moroccan tourist brochure. The waterfalls are a 3 hour car drive from Marrakech and are found in the middle of the Atlas Mountain range. Falling from a height in excess of 110 meters, the falls plunge into an endless series of pools. The gorge of the Ouzoud Waterfalls is home to families of Barbary apes and a variety of native avian species – a bird watcher’s delight! Many visitors to Morocco don’t expect this kind of “natural experience”, so a visit to beautiful Ouzoud comes as a refreshing surprise. For a great discovery we propose taking people around on a 3 Hours walk; through the Berber village, Olive groves where to see the Barbary apes, and some really old caves used to be dwelled with the local nomad families over different stages of the Moroccan history… get down to take the best view over the whole form of the cascades with a permanent rain-bow. Lunch by the waterfalls, then head back up to the departure place...
